Got questions? We’ve got answers. Whether you’re wondering how our tastings work, what beers we serve, or how to book your spot, this FAQ covers the essentials. Dive in below to find everything you need to know.
Do I need to be a beer expert to enjoy the tasting?
Not at all! Our tastings are designed for everyone—whether you’re a total beginner or a longtime beer fan. We keep it fun, relaxed, and full of surprising stories. You’ll leave knowing a lot more about Belgian beer (and probably with a new favorite)!
How many beers do we taste?
You’ll get to taste six carefully selected Belgian beers, each with its own style, story, and flavor. From Trappist classics to local gems—you’ll discover the diversity Belgium is known for.
Where does the tasting take place?
We currently offer tastings at two great locations in Bruges, each with its own unique character:
- Resto Mojo – A warm and creative restaurant just outside the city center. This is a more intimate, sit-down tasting, perfect for couples, private groups, or anyone looking for a relaxed evening. This tasting includes a charcuterie plate with cheeses, cured meats, and snacks specially paired with the beers.
- The Bauhaus Hostel – A social and lively venue in the old town, ideal for travelers and small groups. The focus here is on discovering great beer in a casual setting. Food is not included at this tasting, though you’re welcome to grab something from the hostel bar before or after.
Can I book a private tasting?
Yes! Whether it’s a team event, a bachelor(ette) party, or a family get-together, we offer private tastings at Resto Mojo or another location that fits your group. Just reach out to chat about options.
Is food included?
Only at Resto Mojo. There, you’ll enjoy a generous charcuterie board with your tasting. At The Bauhaus, the focus is on the beer alone—though the bar does offer snacks separately.
What if I don’t like beer?
No problem! You’re not alone. We’ve had many guests who were skeptical at first but ended up surprised by what they liked. The tasting is all about exploring and enjoying at your own pace.
Are there non-alcoholic options?
The tasting is centered around beer, but if you’re not drinking alcohol, we can offer a few non-alcoholic alternatives—just let us know when booking.
How do I book?
You can book viaour own website. Want something custom? Get in touch directly for private group tastings.
How long does the tasting last?
Each tasting lasts about 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on the size of the group and how chatty everyone is. It’s casual, fun, and never rushed.
What languages do you speak?
The tastings are in English, but I also speak Dutch. For private groups, I’m happy to adjust where possible.
